Aquabats Sports and Social Club for the Blind

Aquabats is a mixed ability club meeting in and around London for a variety of sports and social events.

Indoor swimming 7.00pm every Tuesday

Indoor swimming is available via London Sports club for the Blind at the Porchester Leisure Centre (nearest tube Royal Oak Hammersmith and City Line) commencing at 7.00pm every Tuesday at £10 per annum membership and £1 for each swim.

12 August – Holloway Prison gym/swimming

Please meet at Caledonian Road (Piccadilly Line) at 4.45pm leaving at 5.00pm. Please note no mobile phones are allowed inside the prison and must be left in lockers at reception. Also please bring ID in the form of bus pass or passport. If you are coming along to the event please bring both gym and swimming stuff as the pool may sometimes be unavailable. Non-member cost £3.

19 August – walk in the Hampstead area (requested)

Please meet at Hampstead (Northern Line Edgware Branch) at 6.15pm leaving at 6.30pm. Non-member cost £1.

2 September – London Duck Tour

Please meet at Westminster Underground Station at barriers at 2.30pm leaving at 2.45pm. I am paying for this event as part of my 50^th birthday celebrations. Non-member cost £16.00. I am paying for 12 members maximum.
